Your Chance at a U.S. Green Card Through the Lottery

The Diversity Visa (DV) program, commonly known as the Green Card Lottery, provides a limited number of immigrant visas each year to individuals from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States. At American Dream Law Group, we help eligible applicants correctly enter the lottery and, if selected, successfully complete the entire process through to obtaining their Green Card.

Because the process has strict requirements and tight deadlines, professional guidance can make a significant difference in avoiding costly mistakes.

How the Diversity Visa Program Works

Eligibility

Applicants must be natives of a qualifying country and meet either the education requirement (high school education or equivalent) or the work experience requirement (two years of experience in an occupation that requires at least two years of training or experience).

Entering the Lottery

Entries are submitted online during a specific registration period each year. Only one entry per person is allowed. Incorrect or duplicate entries can result in disqualification.

Selection & Next Steps

If you are selected, you must complete the DS-260 immigrant visa application, gather required civil documents, attend a medical examination, and appear for a visa interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate.

Family Members

The spouse and unmarried children under 21 of a selected applicant may also be eligible to apply for immigrant visas as derivatives.
